The Lodge was lovingly restored from a derelict 18th-century barn and designed with comfort, privacy, and flexibility in mind. It's ideal for couples who want more space, families with children, or anyone needing a peaceful base with accessible access and a fenced garden.

From the king-size bed with luxury pocket-sprung mattress to the deep sofas and outdoor seating, every corner invites you to relax. Whether it's a movie night with the sound bar, stargazing from the hot tub, unwinding in the Smokehaus's private sauna, or coffee and birdsong on the breakfast deck, this space is all about slowing down.

The Smokehaus

The unique Smokehaus garden pod offers a truly memorable stay, with a comfortable double bed, striking architect-designed interiors featuring no right angles, and a skylight perfectly positioned for stargazing from bed. Accessed via steps through the garden, it's a cosy retreat for couples, adventurous guests, or older children.

New for 2026, guests staying in the Smokehaus also have access to their own private outdoor Shower Room and Sauna, adding an extra touch of comfort and adventure to this one-of-a-kind hideaway.

  • What an amazing place to stay. Every little detail was catered for. You could not ask for more. So relaxing and quiet. Amazing walks in the forest and heaths - walked for hours and only saw two ladies on horseback. Took our 2 dogs with us. Had a nice secure garden for them and so many places to explore. A big thank you to our hosts Chrissy and Paul. You have built a fantastic place to chill out.

  • A gem of a place which we really enjoyed staying at. Would work whatever the weather as outdoor space has shelter and cooking facilities, Bluetooth speakers, lights and firepit. Indoors is nice and cosy without being too small, it was a pleasure to stay there.

  • Had a great stay. Really peaceful location in rural Norfolk but within walking distance of a great pub. The outside space was simply amazing, almost too much choice of places to sit! So many amenities with the pizza oven, gas BBQ griddle, charcoal BBQ, two sheltered outdoor areas and of course the hot tub. Lots of information provided upfront. Check-in was a breeze. Place was spotless. Absolutely recommend to anyone!
